Trolling's definition is too wide to make a blanket statement. At its most basic, trolling is doing something for the sole purpose of getting a reaction. That reaction can be a pleasant one (i.e. Tara's "twolling", as she calls it) or an angry/disgusted one (i.e. the average internet troll). It's not inherently a negative thing, and it's not about who does it, but how they do it.

@Turtle The Death Note can't make the impossible happen. It has to be able to realistically happen, otherwise the Note just instantly kills you of a heart attack

@Mio Oh, it's always had a negative connotation. The term originates from "trolling for suckers", after all. By definition, though, it never has to be a negative thing. It's just fishing for a reaction.

@Lurker: Eh, everytime I have seen a definition of it has always been fishing for a negative reaction. The word being used to refer to fishing for any sort of reaction seems to be a relatively recent thing.
