She seems to have an upsession with humans overall.

There's also a less popular fanon thing that has Lyra coming from a rich canterlot family, with her mother being one of the pony's Pinkie grabbed at the end of her "I'm at the great galloping gala" song. Both Johnjoseco and Madmax sort of added to it as well with a couple fanart pieces.

Yeah... If I could expunge any single bit of popular fanon from the face of the Earth, it would be "Lyra is obsessed with humans/hands". I love Lyra, but the fandom interpretation of her is so one-note that it's really getting on my nerves.

@Lurker: Well, if it makes you feel any better, her human upsession isn't the only thing that comes to mind when I think of Lyra. Nor is the Lyra/Bonbon pairing {Though I do love it since it's adorable}.

I have heard one theory that Lyra's obsession with humans started with an obsession with hands. And that her obsession with hands was triggered when she thought about the Fridge Logic of a pony playing the harp, even with magic.
