Real politiks. With our protagonist, Prince Blueblood.

I'd definitely watch it.

Gah, I can't stand politics. There's no way to be right or wrong usually, so it's just perpetual debate.

Eh, whenever they try to put politics into a cartoon, it ends up looking rather pretentious (it was yet ANOTHER attempt at being mature by the Sonic franchise).

Personally I find it all to be shallow and pedantic.

@Psi: Yesterday I had to explain to someone why the term "Shallow and Pedantic" wasn't contradictory.

The conversation was about whether or not Mc Donald's deserves to exist in Montreal(which it doesn't.)

No McDonalds in Montreal? Sounds like paradise.

@kegi From what I've heard, in the continental US, it's impossible to live more than 50 miles away from a Mc Donald's.

@Sky Isn't that the same for Starbucks.

Only replace 50 miles with 50 meters [lol]

@The McDonald's thing: There's a MD pretty much every where you go in the US.

@ginger They don't get built, they spawn. Honestly, I don't get why people need coffee so badly. I wake up fine without it, and I hate the mornings.

There are 5 Mc Donald's within 5 minutes driving distance from my house.

Go figure.

I'm okay with people needing coffee. But why at THOSE prices.

I don't drink coffee, but my college peers tell me that McDonald's coffee is pretty good

@Blue: Oh no, there are McDonald's in Montreal. There just shouldn't be.

Since arriving here, there is one thing that I have concluded: Montreal. Loves. Food.

There are restaurants everywhere, and they are all amazing. Even the grease burger joints are pretty alright. Like, to give you an example: Yesterday I went to a foodcourt in the mall. I went to a seafood place for lunch. I got a plate heaping wiht Salad, scalloped potatoes, and sea bass with cheese - an entire sea bass.

And it was fucking amazing. Some oft he best fish I've ever had. Out of a fucking food court. that same food court had a crepery in it.

In a town like this, where even the cheap food is so great, there is no reason for McDonald's to exist. It should not be allowed. It is an insult to all the fantastic chefs in this city that people even consider eating there.

And yes, I AM this passionate about it. This is not hyperbole.

[up]I'll admit, McDonald's coffee is pretty good. But there are still better, cheaper places to get it here! Same goes for starbucks, it has no right to exist in this city!

I have two McDonald's nearby here. From where I've travelled in the UK, that actually seems to be the standard for each town. My Starbucks closed down though. Guess it's not taking on as well as in the US.

50 miles? More like 5, I can quickly identify at least three in the immediate area within some form of walking distance. Of course I have a longer definition of "walking distance"

Hmmm, coffee. I prefer the coffee I brew at home over whatever is made elsewhere. My coffee just taste more richer and filling than the others.

@Late: I actually have a St. Hubert's on my corner. I've seen them everywhere since I've gotten here, and I'd never even heard of it before.
