So, going into season 2! Return of Harmony part 1.
I like this Discord fellow! He's got style! Even if he did have to cut to the chase with flutershy. Reminds me of HIM. Infact, I'm almost certain that HIM was at least partly the inspiration for Discord. They're very similar.
I was kinda disappointed how they forgot what happened in the first episode until now. Hey you all are now the physical representations of equestrias primary mcguffins! Lets completely ignore that development until season 2! Oh well.
one of the better episodes, for sure.

@ Ace I would be sure aobut that. Ironic since she is more equestrian than me (as person interested in horses).
Because he know I'm going to go out in this plane and I'm going to remove one of His creations from His universe.

@Storyyeller Would have made it even creepier when her eyes changed. You know how Chrysalis talks; she sounds like two people talking at once.
Confounded modern Internalnet doohicky. In the old days, if we wanted to talk to someone far away we sent 'em a letter!

I don't think I ever saw that episode of Courage.
Gully Foyle is my name,
and Terra is my nation.
Deep space is my dwelling place,
and death's my destination.

@Blissey Yeah, the Elements don't come up often, considering that they're only necessary for wold-endangering threats, but they do reflect the general characterization of each of their bearers quite accurately, something that the show does a great job of keeping consistent.
@Rich
There's a trope for that. Though, Chrysalis's version is a lot more toned down than the usual stuff.

Chrysalis voice pattern is supposed to have a sense of bug-buzz right?

well yeah, but they could at least mention it. I mean, I could totally see RD bringing it up in an "I'm better than you" type argument. "Oh yeah? Well I'm the physical embodiment of loyalty! Top that!"

Rainbow is as modest as the others about her Element status. Possibly because unlike her other accomplishments she didn't so much earn it as much as it just happened to her.
In other news, I have two games I've never played before. Should I play Star Ocean The Last Hope or Fable III

The only episode I saw of Courage dealt with him cooking macroni and cheese for some evil girl. I didn't really get the premise.
Life is simple: it has no nontrivial normal subgroups.

Well, that girl was the woman who cared for him, Muriel, though she did become a jerk when she was made younger.
And the episode was him turning her back to normal.

Sounds like the Baby Muriel episode. Really, the thing with Courage is you shouldn't be tryingto understand anything.
That being said, It's one of my favorite cartoons, you should totally watch more of it. The Tower of Doctor Zalost is my favorite.
