Personally, I think that That's How You Know is the best of the MLD videos.

Funny thing is, I thought of the "Bonbon is a changling" idea from her absence in the season two finale, while everyone else thought of it from her inconsitant voice. Here's one of the fanfics focusing on this idea, for anyone intreasted.

I think the main point of comparison between seasons one and two is the considerable Animation Bump the show got once it had proven it was worthy of a budget large enough to buy more than a set of shoestrings.

Anyways Ace, I looked at your troper page, and I couldn't help but notice you have very nice taste in gaming! DooM, Mega Man, Sonic... Castlevania...

They really ramped up the unique background ponies for season 2

@Light Phaser: Sometimes I think I'm not that hardcore after watching gosu korean Star League commanders decimate each other in Starcraft, or watching superhuman Japanese players pwn Ludricous Difficulty in some danmaku shooter, but I do realize I have some of the meanest snaking skills on this island, am easily the best Bomberman player in the family, and am one of the few on the island hardcore enough to play roguelikes without whining about the unfairness of the RNG.

Season II was great for alternative pony body shapes :3 Alley Way and Fleur :3

@Light: I've never actually had the opportunity to play SNES originals though, I should really try them since I've pwned the GBA and DS Castlevanias quite thoroughly.

@Ace Yeah, the new designs are great. I think that also falls under animation budget, though, as that's the reason the Mane 6 didn't have wholly unique designs in the first place.

Can't wait for Nintendo's conference. That's the only I'm going to watch.

All of the conferences are usually worth watching, if only for the Narm that tends to come out of them.

I've renounced Sony after the whole nonsense about buying your PSP games twice before you can play them on your Vita, thrice if you bought them twice just so you can play them on the PSP Go as well (you poor gullible gamers). Also they patented gameplay-interrupting ads.

I actually prefer Nintendo's approach because getting new cartridges is worth the price of readmission (bitrot on old carts is a nightmare I tell you) and some of my hardware is still alive enough to play my classics (My gamecube with its Gameboy Player mod sez hi, as do my fleet of DS Lites with numerous Pokemon carts sticking out of them).

I can't really imagine Opera or IE getting ponified. They don't have fancy logo designs like the others do.

Internet Explorer is only good for downloading Firefox.
