I was actually thinking about Raimundo in relation to this show a while back, though for a different reason. In Xiaolin Showdown, Omi is the main character, but when it comes time to formalize a leader for their team, it turns out Omi was a Red Herring, and Rai was the real leader among the group. I keep getting little hints from the way episodes tend to play out that Rainbow Dash is more likely to fill a leadership role in the mane 6 than Twilight, despite her main character status. She's always the first to call the others to action, and has taken full on leadership roles more often than the others. Of course, Twilight still seems to be the default leader for really big events, and I'm probably looking too deep into this, but it would make for some neat character development for a similar plot about leadership to play out here.

Where is Fallen?

What I find funny about the My Little Pony franchise is how people seem to think that it Tastes Like Diabetes, but I bet they have never watched the 1984 special titled My Little Pony AKA Rescue at Midnight Castle AKA Firefly's Adventure AKA My Little Pony in Dreamland!

I mean, it has a Big Bad named Tirek/Tirac/Tirrac (how many spellings does this character need anyway?). He is a centaur with baphomet elements mixed in. The guy is essentially the MLP equivalent of Satan. He has a Rainbow of Darkness that proves to be quite deadly.

I would love to see Tirek make an appearance in MLP: FIM. I bet an episode could be made that reveals how Tirek tried to take over Equestria before being destroyed in an epic War of the Rainbows. However, his soul ended up in Tartarus and became an Eldritch Abomination. He wants to escape Tartarus and corrupt everything with the Rainbow of Darkness! Oh, and he would make quite the Evil Counterpart for Princess Luna.

Well, I doubt such an episode will ever be made, but hey, I can dream, can't I? If Tirek appeared on this show, it would be the biggest Mythology Gag in the franchise...and it would remind younger viewers just what MLP's very first villain was like!

@Tiggers: A yes the video that old school pony fans probably point to when bronies criticize G1 (actually probably not since many of the old school fans are just collectors). I honestly wouldn't mind some more blatant shoutouts to G1 myself, though I doubt that'll happen.

I'm talking more about the ignorant/asshole bronies who were quick to raid older pony sites and tell them how terrible all the other stuff was compared to Fi M.

I really don't see a lot of people criticizing G1, really the biggest thing I've heard was "It was ok for an 80's cartoon" it's more it's 80-ness then anything else that makes it seem bad at times. now G2 (ok ok that weird thing where they were really humans the just looked kinda equine and lived in a modern (by 1950's standards ) town that people debate over if it was "G2" or not) and G3..yeah those are what people laugh at.

3.@ Blissey from WAY earlier..I know one person in this thread (forget who) that claims the Flutterguy version of Evil Enchantress was the moment he became a Bronie

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by "Hippocamps, " and how would it be different?

Hippocampi are basically horses that live underwater I think as opposed to sea ponies are sea horses with the upper part being a pony.
