No video game music thread would be complete without this tune, here's my favorite version:

@Freeman
Literally nothing at all is wrong with that. I was kidding. It was a joke. Calm down, alright?
I just said that because I personally prefer Forest Interlude over Aquatic Ambiance, nothing wrong with that, is there?
@Light Phaser: I think this kinda puts your upset over edvedd's comment into perspective.
Some things sound a lot less offensive than they do when read.

@colin Ah, depending on your couse it probably wouldn't have added more than a few "pretentiousness" points anyway
Really, it doesn't start sounding like a traditional battle theme till the final section (the 4th one from when you fight Kefka himself)
I just love how they put in his laugh

What exactly is the code to put Youtube videos into the thread?

that game was a lot better then it seems to get credit for. Biggest issue was it was just a cliched rehash of a genre that was gutting the market at the time, at least on the N64, and it was such a huge departure from the original DKC.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.

@Psi [[youtube: ID]] with ID being the stuff after "v=" and before an "&", if it exists.

Psi: Heh, sorry about that. Just had to add up the creepyness. This thread lacks scary things, as well as things that are funny and demented at the same time, like this video {Don't watch if you have a weak stomach}.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qx4ymmAahBw

@colin Pretentious - Attempting to impress by affecting greater importance, talent, culture, etc., than is actually possessed.

Well I'm sorry I didn't put an emoticon to set the tone of my post to a nice, leveled "I'm being a silly goose", but I wanted to share a nice DKC tune, and because Freeman posted one before me, I thought it'd be funny to follow up with his by posting one from the sequel and a little remark involving a "real man", which is silly in itself seeing as this is music from 10+ year old games that were intended for children.

@ginger: Archie Sonic.
@Phaser: I know I'm just saying you had similar offense about a comment, so now you see how easy it is to give the wrong gist of things with a harmless joke.
@crowlover: Thanx.

@colin Pretty much, but you can sometimes try to be subtle about it.
my favourite phrase which I use to instantly sound pretentious is: "This creature, a variatable maelstrom of avarice"
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
