One of the signs that demonstrates that I'm odd compared to the average brony is the fact that my first ship for the show was Fluttershy/Spike. Boy does that put me in a minoity. Of course, I like shipping him with Rarity as well and since Cutie Pox, with Twilight a bit too. My bigges ship is Apple Dash though, which is one of the more popular ones.

BTW, my new item on my wishlist: an episode showing Derpy saving the world from a villian long time ago and sacrificing her own sanity, becoming what she is today.

The episode is told by Dash's point of view, who currently thinks less of Derpy and will start to admire her.

Bonus points if: - the Doctor is involved - nobody knows about the whole affair, except Celestia - Derpy once was the most intelligent mare on all of Equestria, having discovered the laws of optics, the laws of movement, the shape of the orbits of planets and a ponyfied Neil Tyson appears telling us this and doing his gesture.

I had an adenture like this once… But don’t think my companion Derpy is dumb she is very intelligent, she is much more smarter than she gives herself credit for

I didn't consider it shipping until now because... well... I imagined just a note in the end like "Rarity married Stallion17". This is a "happy ending" wishlist item.

BTW, what do you exactly mean when you say "I ship"? Does it occur only in your imagination or the verb demand I put something on fanfic, etc?

I use it as, a pairing that I like the idea of. The ones I like the idea of more are the ones that I'll search for more or be more likely to read.

There are actually few ponies there who could be convincingly gay.

@ Seraph: A noble goal and one I can get behind.

I think any of them could be gay. With the exception of Rarity. Easier to think of everyone as bisexual anyway.

Cheerilee is semi-commonly shipped with Twilight so there are supporters of that interpretation.

ponies don't give a flying feather about gender, they just go with whatever pony they love, doesn't matter if there male or female. only thing the gender matters for is making foals, and if a same sex pony couple wants a foal, they find a close, well-trusted friend that won't mind helping out.
