@ JT, we've pretty much been doing fanon stuff for a while now.

Just to get this out of the way, here's what I'm suggesting for government: A council of pink golems who wield all political power. Each councilmember is from a different region, but they're not elected, and have just seized power by killing their enemies. They hold a harsh grip on the poor, and have strict punishments for minor crimes. Richer citizens aren't in danger as much, but the council will occasionally have KGB-style roundups of their political enemies, who get shipping off to the red mines.

@ginger They're mostly ponies, but any creature can be crystallized. Maybe a minotaur or a griffon are on the council, because of their ferocity.

@marston Lets back to crossover idea. I'm still wonder anypony else think about my idea.

On smaller scale I whant to see fussion fic with Mass Effect.

@whats I guess a council makes more sense for an empire than a kingdom. But why is Cadence a princess then? Maybe of a smaller kingdom inside the empire?

@Sky Doesn't really sound like much of an empire.

Oh! Would they have some kind of Crystal Mountain seeds that they scatter across a region they're invading which turns the entire area into another crystal mountain range?

Their yelling out fan fic ideas, I'm collecting exobits.

@ginger I like the idea of a council, but maybe we could have one mega-golem as the supreme leader. Also, those crystal seeds remind me of Ko-Metru, so sure.

Maybe Cadance is a figurehead or something. Or the council wields most of the political power with the royalty still present, but greatly diminished in capacity.

@JT Figurehead royalty is probably the best explanation. She can be kept around for charisma, but she holds no power, so she can't interfere with the empire's plans.

That's an intreasting fusion idea. As for me, I can't remember what my other crossover ideas were. Go figure.

I've never watched very many sci-fi shows, so I can't make much of a comment on your other idea, other then the fact that it might be able to be done well without being a mess. And as for the cartoons getting mixed in, that would have to depend on which shows your talking about.
