@Chada I saw one theory that suggested all the major villains so far are corrupted versions of the Eo H. Nightmare Moon was a misuse of Magic, Discord was a corruption of Laughter, and Chrysalis was the corruption of Love. Of course, you could draw the same connection to minor villains, but it made sense.
