Harry Potter And The Methods Of Rationality which is extremely author tracty including altering canon for the purpose of author tracts, the author hasn't bothered to read all the canon books, he has some very stupid approaches to plot and characterisation and his views are stupid.

The Author Tracts are a little annoying, but it's not enough to ruin everything like you seem to think. He doesn't alter canon for the purpose of author tracts, he alters canon in order to tell a good story.

Spike being the Element of Loyalty is an interesting idea, but ultimately I don't like the idea of RD being despensible, not outside a manner that implies all of the mane six can be.

Fluttershy did seem really irked by her outburst at the others, even going so far as to restrain herself. She was terrified of that cruel streak hidden inside her.
