Eeyup, I'm South African and due to our history, South African English is more like British English than American English. There are exceptions though. And some things are exclusively South African. Sometimes I have to remember that if I talk the way I normally do, no one will understand me. It's the worst with time as we have a very unique way of talking about time which makes sense to us but to no one else. It can cause hilarious problems.

You know, I just realized that Twilight is now royalty by marriage. The question here being: What is she, exactly? A princess? Also, Celestia and Luna are the rulers of Equestria yet they're both princesses. You have Princess Cadence who isn't anypony important. You have Prince Blueblood is who is Celestia's nephew somehow. You now have Prince Shinning Armor (fuck that name) who probably also isn't important. Trying to figure out the social standings of these characters is harder than figuring out the Zelda timeline before Hyrule Hystoria came along.

Really, why couldn't have Hasbro just let Lauren Faust call her Queen Celestia? Sure, it doesn't have the same ring to it but we wouldn't have this grand shitstorm to deal with. Thankfully, since I've called Fanon Discontinuity on S2, I don't have to bother figuring this shit out.

Sure, I could just use the MS 3 K Mantra but developing worlds with immense amounts of detail is something I do as a fantasy author. I've always enjoyed having worlds that adhere to a specific set of rules (baring a few rare and wonderful instances). I'm also doing the very same thing to Equestria through my fan fic but I'm staying away from anything the show might eventually explain.

Short story completed and handed in. That's all my assessments this term. The only question is whether I actually did well

If Princess Cadence is considered a nobody, then Twilight is still just sister of the King of Knights. Unless of course the princes and princesses in Equestria are all the royalty of individual plots of land that we haven't heard about yet. Or maybe Celestia adopted her. Or maybe they're simply from a royal family who has long since lost its powers and retains only its title. Room for fanon, I say.

Equestria is a principality. A place ruled by a prince/princess. It's a real thing, just like Emperor is ranked higher than King but a king rules a country. Most royal families have multiple princes and princesses with different sandings. This isn't abnormal.

And again, you can't criticise the episode without watching it.

Little girls like princesses more or something. So yeah, for money is why.

The thing is, we've seen like four towns. Granted, the capital whose name I cannot remember could be much larger than we've seen, but the other places we've seen only seem like regular towns.

I personally don't really care about Princess's relationships for each other. For all we know, Princess could be a term given out like sir or dame. Them being in the one family could make sense, but then that means the Celestia has a daughter/son she hasn't bothered to talk about.

Actually, I was poking fun at. Not criticizing. Still, it would have been nice if Hasbro let them call Celestia Queen or Empress. Right now, we just have a leader whose title doesn't match her position.

I personally like the idea that the title of Queen is only granted to those who rule their entire species and there are non-Equestrian ponies who don't answer to Celestia and Luna.

The other issue is that Celestia and Luna are supposed to be equal, so for one to be queen, the other would have to be as well, which also seems weird.

EDIT: We also know Fillydelphia, Trottingham and Baltimare.
