@Applelight: If he hurt you enough that you consider it assault, call the police. Otherwise, let it go.

I know I sound condescending, but I'm sort of speaking from experience. I have a natural inclination towards brutal, over the top, Disproportionate Retribution, its something I've struggled with in the past. But over the years I've learned to let my anger go. It wasn't easy and it was painful to start with, but now it's made my life much easier, much happier, and kept me out of jail. I know it seems like I'm probably talking out of my ass, but I have actually reached the point where pretty much nothing angers me anymore beyond the scope of 5 or 10 minutes, and that really is a good feeling to have.

Of course, this is just my personal advice. It's up to you if you think it's worth listening to.

One other thing I remember from ch19. The explanation of how RD's power fits her cutie mark is even more convoluted than Cherilee's. Probably because RD is actually the Element of Antagonism, not Loyalty, in this fic.
