Well, it's not like Rainbow would be intentionally solving the problems. Her plan didn't work, after all. Like I said, your idea seems more likely. How is Rainbow overpowered, though? Like I said before, her Element seems to be giving her power. I'm going to guess the others are going to be empowered by their elements soon, too. And Celestia may not be incompetent, but it's not like she can do much besides hold Discord.

Well, Havocwing isn't exactly the best at speaking and thinking, she's more about beating things up. It makes sense that her seeds didn't work out in her favor.

... Well, apparently Belarus' entry was a rock band because Belarus outraged over the entry that was selected, so the president chose the rock band to quell the outcry. Makes sense, I suppose...

Anyways, on to Portugal's entry!

... Huh. Very nice usage of effects, and the song's not half-bad either.

The thing I'm interested in is the fact that the mane 6/ mean 6 interaction is seemingly going both ways. I wonder what will happen with that. Also, Shadowstep is seemingly now magic immune with those wings. It looks like he will be a pain to beat. If the mean 6 turn good or at least turn their back on Silvertongue, then it could be possible that Shadowstep becomes a major threat for both teams.

@Ginger, Probably, though some may not be as easy to accept as RD's was.

@Swa, well, she's the only one who singlefoofedly defeated her opponent in the rematch (as opposed to merely drawing with them) and she's already gotten ANOTHER power added to her arsenal? True, this MIGHT be mitigated if this lightning power dies down later like you said, but...

Fallout Equestria left a BAD taste in my mouth when it came to Celestia's appearances in fanfiction. The fact that she's doing as much as she is is a MASSIVE step forward for me

Now I'm REALLY anticipating the inevitable RD vs Grayscale duel.

I get the feeling that they're both gonna duke it out in the air like Neo and Smith did in Revolutions... IN A STORM TOO

And Grayscale would cause the rain to stop in middair and float at some point

Heh, I guessed that's how you would feel. I'm glad too, Havocwing is one of my favourite mean 6.

I can't see Grayscale having too much trouble, just make RD too heavy to fly, and it's a easy win.

@Cookoo Grayscale's power seems to work selectively. I'm sure she has to aim it (either that or it's an AOE pulse)

If RD avoids it then she can attack form a distance
