@Orion

My toenail had gotten ingrown, and I had to have part of it removed. It was really painful, but lately I just have to soak it in water for 15 minutes, then put some stuff on it and nothing else.

@Orion: do you have a stomach for spicy food? Pinkie seems to enjoy hot sauce quite a bit.

I'm completely and utterly miserable. sad

Not only will I soon be totally friendless, an old ex-friend/enemy is back in town...I hate my life so much right now. I'm just so emotionally drained and broken atm.

My home town is already dead to me. As soon as I can, I'm out of here, and I swear to never return.

Big Mac gets reunited with his best friend who had to leave town, after Applebloom wonders why he's been down lately.
Said best friend is actually a girl he had feelings for, which he kept a total secret. Except it would be terribly awkward to bring it up again after so long. Also, she's already married with two kids named Cotton and Flax, anyway.

I generally suck at sympathy because I don't want to sound hollow, while at the same time also not wanting to look like I don't give a feather, but...

I hope things work out okay for you guys. In whatever way that happens.

Post of the Day #17

@Rboy, the artist was probably trying to go in a different direction with the white coat color, though mime might have been too far.

@Applelight, 'only interesting? Almost looks up your alley if his art was smoother.

And good luck with your art, can't wait to see the results.

Regarding the zmobie invasion thing - there's something I've always wondered. How come the disease is always contagious enough to get almost everyone, but the uman survivors never get infected?

[up]They are immune. See L 4 D.

Or there is no plague and every dead rise as zombie. See Night (and other parts of day) of Living Dead.

Or they can be infected and some often during become infected. See 28 Days Later.

In the case of B.O.W. attacks like the G- and T-Viruses in Resident Evil, the infection usually only spreads because people are dumb and some Umbrella workers are careless and get infected without realising it, and by the time they know it the virus has contaminated some meat and then you get zombie dogs which spread the virus. Such attacks are relatively controllable with proper biohazard containment procedures and copius amounts of Cleansing Fire.

In more pony-related news, one of my fave new Fics, Mendacity, has updated with part 3 :D

Did anyone see the CDC's advice on dealing with Zombie outbreaks?

well, thre are a lot of groups that actually do advise you to be ready for a zombie apocalypse, on the grounds that, if your ready for that your ready for damn near anything short of an Earth-Shattering Kaboom.

[up] cool, looks nice.

My own advice: Dismembering shots for Necromorphs, Headshots for B.O.Ws. Take advantage of terrain obstacles to delay and force zombies to group up, then blast them with area-effect weapons.

Well apparently, preparing for a zombie apocalypse involves the same steps as preparing for a hurricane or earthquake.
