Not if you use the online version. Although that's probably counterproductive in your situation.
Wait, they get Shelly to testify in court through a radio?
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
@Mio Well, ALL stories suffer from this problem. The early chapters are dedicated to watching the main character being absolutely awesome. Which, as I've established, I don't enjoy.
and the people on the thread are either obnoxiously bare bones with their answers, or enjoy gushing about how awesome the main character is.

How does the online version work?

Just plunk the video URL into that bar at the top of the screen and hit the download button.
It claims I don't have Java.

@Ginger: Well isn't it usually the purpose of the early chapters to establish the protagonist abilities, and why the audience should feel invested in them? Usually the best way to do that is to give them some kind of victory.
I guess any youtube downloader is going to be a bit shady. What a dilemma.

@Mio Y'see, this is one thing FOE did well. I LOVED Steelhooves' introduction. Why? Cuz he got the shit kicked out of him and he almost died. but he walso got to show off how awesome he was and how he could help the team at the same time.
and besides, while I can get behind the stuff that makes the main characters sympathetic, I can't say I ever enjoy watching them curbstomp people

Hey, I wonder how hard it is to make your own downloader.

@Mio I always feel like a hero should dominate exactly ONCE, if at all. Their introduction.
Apparently though, this guy in
Liar Game will continue to curbstomp his opponents effortlessly for several rounds before coming across a decent challenge.
I enjoy heroes when they're struggling, not when they're winning. If that makes any sense
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Well, basically, the
Liar Game is a tournament by which you and your opponents are given money and your objective is to steal the money from your opponents by any means necessary. Gambits and battles of wits ensue.
The main character is a ridiculously honest girl who ends up losing her money almost instantly. She seeks the help of a
Magnificent Bastard ex-con artist who helps her through the game.
He pretty much single handedly DOMINATES her opponent in the first round. As much as it annoys me, yes, you have to establish that he's a genius somehow, so fair enough. but apparently, he's going to continue dominating for several more rounds of the tournament. Is that REALLY necessary? You've already ESTABLISHED how smart he is

I've been trying to learn how to do java bytecode.
