I walked out into the streets of manhattan barefoot one day to get breakfast

@Ginger It's not that you're completely wrong, it's just that there are nearly infinite ways to write a story, and any of them could conceivably be done well. You're missing a huge chunk of the picture.
NC is a pretty boring state, so there's not much to talk about.
If you stare into the abyss long enough, it stares into you.
Element of Indecision.
@ Ginger..ummm no. you do NOT need a good or even A villian to tell a good story. Yes you need some form of conflict, but that doesn't mean a villain.
and I love the Mario games, even the non-RPG's have some fun little plot points.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
I've never traveled anywhere further than 3 states.
I've been to the majority of states in the country. Maybe I should try counting the,
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
A hero can drive a story too right? Especially if the quest is to discover themselves.
The only places I've visited are Chicago (have quite a bit of family there), Colorado Springs, San Diego, and Los Angelas.
Element of Dullness.
@Lurker I don't think I am. With the sole exception of this show, and even this show has antagonists who are my favourite characters. and House (which again, has antagonists) I have never been interested enough in a villainless work to rewatch it again after I've seen it.
I don't know what that says about me

Thread hop. I see we're closing the 8000th page.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
In fact, I find the best stories to be about a conflict of motive. Not simply that one party wants something and the other wants them to not have it, but each party wants something completely different and their motives mingle. I find it makes both parties the most dynamic, and creates for some interesting plot threads.
The states I can remember having been to are Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin. So that's at least 36 out of 50, and possibly more. Oddly, I've barely traveled outside the country.

@Ginger Desire to rewatch something means nothing. Some of my favorite shows/movies I'll never rewatch, because I've seen them once, and they left their impression on me, but they can't do it twice.
@storyyeller There are countries outside of America?
A lot of things are just boring if you rewatch them.

@Apple: Uh, sure. Why?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
@Perpetual Even so, those works I've seen I've only tolerated in a forced setting. I try to find enjoyment wherever I can when I'm forced to watch something against my will
Stupid colleges. Stupid girls in our class trying to get the boys to "broaden their horizons" and even the guys in my class don't appreciate good villainy. I feel so alone in my class
