Speaking of films I ended up staying up late last night to watch Fight Club, though I'd been up since 6 a.m. It was well worth it.

Alien Resurrection is a mediocre film that people think is terrible because its in a series with two fantastic films. It does have it's good moments.

@Ginger I liked Coraline. I just thought it was scarier than a serial killer riding a giant spider at the same time.

I actually rather like Resurrection. It can't stand up to the first two films but it's much better than Alien 3. Alien 3 can go castrate itself with a spoon.

3 was pretty bad, Resurrection I could handle, right up till that horrendously narmy ugly, WTF hybrid showed up. could not take that thing seriously.

Alien3 had its ehhhh moments, still don't like Resurrection as much as the rest of the quadrilogy.

I couldn't forgive 3 for so causally killing off Newt and Hicks. At least Paul McGann provided me with a Hey, It's That Guy! moment.

And Resurrection at least had Ron Perlman in it. That makes it 20% cooler.
