The funny thing about Nightmare Moon sounding "normal" compared to Luna is that according to the customs that typically dictate the use of her formal language, speaking as she did as Nightmare Moon was actually a sign of disrespect to her subjects. She really did hate them all for shunning her glorious night.

We can still compare times when Luna speak "normal" like in few scenes of Luna Eclipsed or at end of Canterlot Wedding.

I love her voice. No offence Rarity (you voice is great too) but Luna/NMM are best work of Tabitha.
