@Pannic: How is that possible? I thought you told me that Tenor's were one of the most common kinds of singing voices? I mean hell, if I'm almost a tenor, there's gotta be a hell of a range above me to choose from.

As for chanting thing... I almost want to say that I would pay you money to switch into the choir from "Hellfire" in the middle.

Because Hama had to invent it first. It's one thing to build a chair. It's another thing to build the first chair. Once you've seen it in action, it's not super hard to mimic. Hama probably has a much better grasp on it, and she gave in when Katara 'learned' it.

Baritones are the most common male voice type, actually. If necessary they can split and do some of the higher stuff for the less demanding choral music, but really, most choirs that aren't professional or at least college-level are gonna have a dearth of tenors.

yeah, and keep in mind she could nly spend a few hours a month practicing it. it took years to build the first A-bomb, now it can be done in no time. being the first to refine something entirely new take far far longer then copying what's already been done.

Also, little kids will totally latch onto anyone who will treat them nice. Well, some of them anyways. I know that I'm really popular with kids because I treat them like people, instead of like kids.

Yeah, I actually looked it up, and that confused me. I could have sworn you'd said that like, all the parts in everything were for tenors.

There's a bit of a disparity between what people write and what's actually common for the human voice. So tenor parts are very, very common in musical theatre and pop. Mainly because high notes are impressive and so girls can sing along.

...voices are confusing. Or at least weird.

A lot of people have a tendency to assume kids are stupid and naive. And while to a certain degree they are, they can also be insanely clever and crafty. Basically if you give a kid the respect they deserve they'll like you, because nobody else gives it to them.
