Baritones are the most common male voice type, actually. If necessary they can split and do some of the higher stuff for the less demanding choral music, but really, most choirs that aren't professional or at least college-level are gonna have a dearth of tenors.
yeah, and keep in mind she could nly spend a few hours a month practicing it. it took years to build the first A-bomb, now it can be done in no time. being the first to refine something entirely new take far far longer then copying what's already been done.
