Who's Caramel?

Caramac is one of those ships based entirely around "They were standing next to each other that one time, they must be a couple."

Caramel having a girlfriend being canon hardly even deterred all of his ships, though, which is worrying

I'm not a big fan of Caramac just because I prefer my "Big Mac gets all the mares" headcanon.

I find it hilarious that the closest thing we've ever actually gotten to any sort of "gets all the mares" in canon was all in Pinkie's imagination. I still can't believe they got away with it.

Caramel's shipped with Big Macintosh because of that one scene in Winter Wrap-Up. In which he had a completely different cutie mark.

Well, anyways. I think certain ships don't work because of the way the characters interacted. Twixie is silly because Trixie would despise Twilight, and Twilight would likely be ambivalent. Not a healthy starting point. Note that I think it's actually possible for the ship to work if done in a certain way, but nobody ever does it - they always approach it from the 'Trixie has a hate crush' angle.

Crack ships on the other hand aren't nearly as ludicrous because, by their nature, they allow a writer to invent a scenario in which it is plausible. There's no prior interaction, so chemistry can be made with skill.

And I ship Shining Armor and Cadence because it's actually canon :3

I'm surprised no one ships Rarity/Pony Joe.

@Pannic: The thing is, I interpreted that scene as meaning that Big Mac and Applejack didn't like Caramel very much, which is why I find it bizarre that he's the stallion that both are shipped with the most often when they're shipped with a stallion.

EDIT: Twilight is the only mare immune to Joe's charms. This is practically canon.

Funny, I kinda saw it as Big Mac sort of being there to stand up for him. AJ might not care for Caramel(Or she was just stressed), but I think BM is fine with him.

Twilight has probably known Pony Joe since she was younger. High School at the latest, I'm guessing. She probably sees him as a psuedo-big brother.

I wonder if Ponies celebrate anniversary of their Cute Mark. I know Mane Cast not, because nopony mentioned that during Spike birthday.
