My only complaint is that Seymour Omnis' theme appears a grand total of ONCE in the game.

F^$# it firing up the PS2 and starting a new game of FFX. AGAIN.

and more Doctor Who music

The Skasis Paradigm (most underated Doctor Who track ever. That it was never released officially is a fucking crime]]

The Victory of The Daleks

The Dark and Endless Dalek Night

In terms of more mellowish music I love You're Not Alone! from FF9 (which makes me think of MLP actually)

Seymour Awesomeness! Dat riff that comes in at 1:15!

@Ginger: Well, given the trope that that the theme spawned, that shouldn't be surprising.

So much music I don't listen to... my video game music stuff is somewhat slim.

But I do have one album of interest - y'know Baba Yetu from Civilization IV?

Well, the composer did a whole album of stuff that's just as awesome. It's called "Calling All Dawns."

I'm still trying to figure out what it is about Villain songs that make me like them so much. There has to be more to it than merely "because the villain is singing it"

@ginger Villain songs have a tendency to be big, choral type numbers. I love anything with organs, so I like them as well.
If you stare into the abyss long enough, it stares into you.

In Susannah, the villain has four arias while the protagonist only has two.

Dammit, I like Susannah.

What's quadratic reciprocity?

Huh.
Not bad, but I still prefer to see Princess Luna's freak-outs as being like Fluttershy's, only in supervillain form.
And Applejack is here too!

@steve isn't that just Night On Bald Mountain? (which is awesome anyway) [lol]

I never had much of a problem with Chernabog. I'll tell you what he IS though

@Steve Night on Bald Mountain is actually a rather famous piece, and it was used in Fantasia, which inspired that KH boss fight.

Yeah he is ginger...at first he was going to be the final boss, but then they moved to Ansem, but the fight was so epic they had to keep it.

Still can't decide which of these I prefer

Aria Di Mezzo Carattere from FF6

or

Aerith's Theme from FF7

as a bonus:

(the context this track is used in has made it super narmy for me XD)

You could just look it up. Anyway, I'm off to start reading CEQ now.
