I've had some dreams where I'm fully aware that I'm dreaming. I remember being quite impressed in a couple of them: "Wow, this looks so real."

I had a few dreams where I was like "Oh, this is a dream." But then the dream went away.

The only pony dream I really remember was a short one where I took a seat next to them in a theater or auditorium. That's all that happened.

Well to be fair, I actively try to influence what kind of dreams I have because I'm trying to practice until I can Lucid Dream every night (so far I only manage it once every 2-3 months).

And Ponies are my longest-lasting obsession so far. Everything else just comes and goes but you can never have enough cute ponies. Can't even decide who is the cutest one... Pinkie Pie? Twilight Sparkle? Derpy? My mom is a Trixie fan.

Knowing my luck, my dream will have me holding onto Rainbow Dash for dear life as she flies around. I mean, I had a dream where I rode a pegasi (nothing to do with MLP) powered chariot and I nearly fell off.

How do you intentionally influence waht you dream about?

What you dream is (supposedly) based around what you're subconsciously thinking about. Get something stuck in your subconscious and (the theory goes) you'll dream about it.

There are some things where, if I dream about it I'll instantly know I'm dreaming and be able to control the dream. From there, I get to inact my EVIL PLAN MWAHAHAHAHAHA!

How do you influence your subconscious?

If I knew that, this would be easy.

I do know that putting overt focus on one subject (like, say, ponies) will sometimes do it though. Like lately I've been playing Contra games in binge sessions, and so I dream about Contra a lot.

@Ginger - You don't have good dreams anymore? Really?

And while you're here, How would you react if you woke up one morning and found Pinkie sleeping right next to you?

There are some constant mental constructs that get reused a lot in my dreams, like shopping malls, old residential apartments, ridiculously steep stairs, and my own apartment. Once the flat's windows ended up opening out into a bamboo forest in Gensokyo, although that might be Yukari's meddling. Also gravity tends to be more of a suggestion in my dreams because you can jump and even float off weightlessly.

So far I haven't actually interacted with the ponies that appear in the backdrop of my dreams, I should try that.
