I like mild spices by North American standards. The one time I've been to an authentic Indian restaurant, their mild was almost way too much for me. I'll stay away from suicide wings and anything that burns from smelling it, thank you very much.

The conflict of the story hinges on the fact that the Mane Cast were sent to the portal by Celestia before Whooves could get there and they ended up getting sucked through it as a result. These portals, while rare, certainly don't seem unheard of in this world... so why didn't Celestia know about them? Why wouldn't the Chronomancers have told her about them?

That's a good question. I'm not sure, but if I were to guess it might have something to dowith the fact that most chronomancers are secretive and arrogant. ie. Celestia's never been told because most chronomancers don't want her involved in their business and the few that would be willing just assume that she knows already. Not to mention that this one was much bigger than the ones that canon!Equestria usually gets. Equestria 5 is a bit more unstable.

Have you read chapter 7 yet?

The third Mummy made the mistake of not playing up the Narm Charm as much as the first two. It's almost like watching one of those old 1980s action cartoons that was totally ridiculous, but tried to take itself seriously.
