Karma/morality systems in video games are AWFUL. The only one I liked was the way Dragon Age did it.

Dragon Age Twilight, lol.

I've never seen something with a full on Villain Protagonist that I've actually liked.

... oh wait, A Clockwork Orange. Scratch what I just said.

I know they have tendency to piss me off though. Just look at Light Yagami

What about Iji? I think that was well done.

Dragon Age doesn't have a karma system. Your actions doesn't influence your character.

I haven't played Iji, though I've thought I should for a long time.

[up]Exactly! Actually it does, it's just that your actions affect the way your party members feel about you, each in line with their own values. And in the sequel, they made it so you gain something from having them either FULLY in line with you or FULLY opposed to you, so it encourages you to follow a consistent morality.

Dragon Age is probably One of Biowares best games for party interactions. The Mass Effect series could have come close if they didn't screw over those that stayed neutral.

Morality is not something I want to have to focus on. I like knowing who's good, who's evil, and who's neutral. Let me just focus on their personalities, and how they interact with each other. I know that's an unpopular opinion, but whatevs

Hi everyone. I've been busy celebrating my birthday, so I'm just thread hopping past the previous 40 or so pages. What's going on?

We're talking about videogame morality systems.

Happy birthday, Sky. waii

What's the trope for a hero who fights with his mouth? (like, with words and arguments and such)

At first I thought you meant like holding a sword in your mouth.

Thanks, everyone. So far I've gotten Kid Icarus and Mariokart 7 along with a bunch of cash, and I'll probably be getting Minecraft later tonight.

I need to rewatch this series.

By the way, the next livestream episode is tomorrow, right?

I would like to see a pony that fought with a sword in its mouth, like this.

Random: I'm going on a road trip this summer, and I'm going to pick up a 3DS game to play in the car. I'm going to pick up either Kid Icarus: Uprising, Ocarina of Time 3D, or Mario Kart 7. Which should I get?

Well Kid Icarus Uprising looks funny, but I've heard that the controls are awkward.

@ginger Haven't played it yet, but it looked interesting. I'll let you know as I move through it.

@JT Probably Icarus or Oo T. Mariokart won't last too long unless you have internet.

A little copy and pasting. A little messing around with vectors. A little stretch and squeeze. Mostly graphic arts manipulations.

Do you have any details?
