Almost all the farm animals are sentient. Why the buck would ponies eat them? That just sounds cannibalistic.

@Chad: I don't really have any reason to want to eat meat, and while I'm no biologist, I'm quite sure that the pony digestive system can't digest meat properly anyway.

@Twi: you do have eggs in the diet, although I'm sure they're all unfertilized blanks.

I guess the dragonfire messaging is about as reliable as our technological counterparts, although it would be funny to have similarly amusing glitches crop up when sending copies of things through the Internet to a 3D printer (Well, I'm sure there's a remote printing function that supports sending object info to a 3D printer via the Internet). Cue pranks of sending odd things to someone's 3D printer.
