well DUH it's AU, it's never as if we assumed this would be what happened 10 years after the show. far as i'm concerned ALL fics take place in there own seperate chunk of the MLP Multiverse.

like I said, the ponies dind't create anything like a nuke, that was all Zebra's, the ponies megaspells were very precise strike weapons that could take out a hostile target with little to no civilian or innocent casualties.

ponies=GDI

Zebras=NOD

as far as super weapons go.

@Pan They advanced fast because of the war. Especially when the ministry's were founded.

Earth Ponies in the FOE universe have NO powers whatsoever, but they make up for it by being the great inovaters. They advanced pony civilization forward DECADES just to keep them on par with the zebras, who were also advancing

not like we know anything about Zebra's at all all we've seen is Zecora and we dont know how typical she is

also the roman Empire thing is all just to sync them up with Ceaser's Legion from the game. They all felt that if they lost the war they would be enslaved by and Eldridge Abomination that would feast on there souls..they prefered death to that.

@Lurker pretty much. Everything went to shit because of a lack of proper communication. NO ONE knew that Luna's presense would have had such an effect on the Zebras.

and the Zebra's weren't religious, Holy War is just the best name we have for how they felt, it had nothing to do with religion and everything to do with them thinking anything associated with the stars was a lovecraft level horror. including Luna. (appeartly some time in the distnat past the Zebra race almost went exticnt when there main city and surrounding are was decimated by a meteor strike. this left them with a very VERY deep seated fear of the stars)
