I just don't know about Pony toys. Would it be that much more expensive to get better molds and accurate hair?

I mean, I have no idea how to do hair-styling properly, and blindbags aren't available here, so I don't really feel like buying any of the current ones.

Except for the upcoming Nightmare Moon toy. That at least looks like they made more effort than usual. But I have no idea if it'll come here.

From the looks of things, the transition to new toy molds will probably take quite a while, considering that they'll need at least three new ones to cover the mane 6's body types, and more if they plan on doing male ponies like Big Mac and Shining Armor, or others like Spike, the CMC, Cadence, pets, etc. That's a lot of factory retrofitting to do.

Wasn't the legitimacy of Trixie and Lyra's names being used on merchandise in question up to this point (at least, I remember someone doing an analysis of the original pictures and suspecting a photoshop)? Good to know that they're for real.

Yeah; also, these brushables are technically the first time Hasbro's used those names for toys, since those original pictures weren't officially released.

Characterization issues and game design aren't really the same thing, but I don't think anyone would burn you for hating Navi.

As for Pony Toys... I'll admit I kinda wanted to get those six-inch figures they put out. Local walgreens had Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash... but I just can't stand how bland and generic-cutesy they look. Especially Rainbow Dash: "Cutesy wootsey? Have you even met me?"

@Moe I know. I was just saying that Navi being annoying wasn't a function of her characterization (because she has none), but because of the way the game forces her hints on you with annoying audio queues.

And you'd be surprised how often people will come out of the woodwork to defend OOT if you so much as sneeze in its general direction. I guess it's not so much of a problem here, but I'm just so used to having to raise a flame shield on other sites that I just do so automatically, regardless of where I'm posting.

In this case, since g4.0 is recycled molds from the tail end of g3.5, g4.5 would be more accurate molds made just for FiM.
