I'll be honest, while I'm invested in the characters and the central mystery, I've gotten to the point where I sort of gloss over the more terrible events. "Oh, another mind searing atrocity. Okay. Is that a memory orb? Can we look at that now?"
I am holding to my rule of only reading finished fanfics (With exception of Wild sweet and cool). I may read PH someday.

Goldenblood ran an agency that acted as a liaison between the Ministries, but which had all sorts of secret sketchy projects going on in the background. His exact motivations are still a mystery, Blackjack isn't sure if he was genuinely trying to help Equestria or if he had his own agenda, and she's not sure if he's actually dead. There's been at least two occasions where she expected someone to turn out to be Goldenblood, but wasn't.
Wh-why would I talk to Pipsqueak? I've been too busy crusading with my friends! Yup, no need to talk to or see other ponys from our class.
Hey, at least it's pony related. We could be on a twenty page Avatar tangent.

Well I wouldn't call him a good guy even if he was trying to help Equestria. At best he's a Well Intentioned Extremist. He flat out murders a pony in cold blood at one point to keep a secret, he's hardly a hero.
