Heh, it seems you're all reading FE
I don't know why I'm finding it SO hard to get into Projet Horizons
Wow, I really DO need an anchor
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
Or pony who seems normal, but doubles in size and turns green when he gets angry?
anchor? also, still debating reading that, and it's just Story.
well, I'd suggest we see about a body swap spell Lyra, but other then the human<->pony conversion, the Male<->female might be a BIT much.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
Oh I'm sure you could find a brony or two willing to go along with that.
@Seraph An anchor. Something to keep my interest while I'm reading.
I can love the characters with all my heart, but they alone would not have kept me reading FOE (at least not initially)
With FOE I had Red Eye and The Goddess to look forward to. With Project Horizons I have... nothing
"Contests fought between two masters are decided instantly. An invisible battle is now raging between the two of them." Lulu vs Schneizel
I just think it sounds way to Grim dark. The whole point of FO:E was that no matter how dark it is, the smallest candle of hope can clear a path through it. PH just seems like what weird twisted crap can we do to them next.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
I don't know any ponies that resemble the Avengers, but I'm sure some exist.
FEAR MY MIGHTY MJOLNIR
so there IS still hope there? just all I hear is one after another of sick torture and other grimdark gore shit hapeening over and over....lossing limbs, tortured to death, forced canabilsim (Yes I know Arbu, I'm talking forcing a pony to eat pony for weeks KNOWING what it is, not tricking them) granted i'm only hearing parts of it.
Plus I hea there's some retconning of stuff from the main fic that I just don't like.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
As I said, if I had the promise of a glorious villain to keep me going until I got used to the characters, then maybe...
Also, if all the characters weren't COMPLETELY miserable/evil
It just feels...
MEAN

Ok, how the heck did a museum survive in the wasteland for 200 years?
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
GOD DAMMIT!!!!
I'm stuck with Project Horizons!
I love how CDRW ignores me...

@CDRW: ...Where exactly did you get that picture of me?
I'm clearly not wanted here...
back to
Live A Live

You're not stuck! If you don't like it, just stop reading.

@Ginger: You're playing Live A Live? Ha, I've played that. What era's have you finished and what are you on now?
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
Wow, Pinkie Bell took 'the party to end all parties' much more literally than I expected.

@Perpetual What I mean by stuck is that I don't want my experience of the FOE world to end. I've grown to love it too much.
I'm invested with a god damned SETTING. But there are no other stories WITHIN that setting that even have a hope of grabbing me but Project Horizons

Mostly, I'm just desperately trying to justify how I can possibly enjoy Project Horizons. Because at the moment I started reading it PURELY to oblige my investment in the setting
