Assuming we're talking about the mane six?
Well for Twilight I'd obviously recommend an RPG of some sort. Probably the persona series, just because it's so alarmingly drenched in symbolism she'd love to analyze it. Puzzle games are also a definite possibility.
Dash would like something a lot more actiony. Probably a hack n' slash, not necessarily a shooter. The god of War series would probably apply, or the Prince of Persia games. Interestingly, I think she would avoid racing games, just because they wouldn't compare to racing in real life.
For Rarity I think I
would recommend a shooter. They're very precise games, after all, and the more outlandish ones usually have very ugly enemy designs so she might appreciate 'removing' them. Other than that, maybe a scenery porn type game like Shadow of the Colossus or ICO.
Pinkie would like the more old-school puzzle platformer type games, with the very bright graphics and bouncy, cartoony characters. Mario is the obvious starting point.
Fluttershy I genuinely can't see playing a game with any sort of combat or violence in it. For her I'd suggest animal crossing, or one of those animal raising games. Animal Crossing is more likely, though; why would you play a game about something you do every day?
Applejack is the hardest, jst because I have a hard time imagining her playing any video games at all. The best I can imagine is her occasionally playing a competitive game with dash, really.
