Any ideas how to solve f(n) = 2*f(n-1)*f(n-3)^4 + f(n-2)^4 - f(n-3)^8?
If there is anything that you are alone in thinking, it's "thinking that you're alone in thinking of your theories".
Is that a recursive function? o_O Wouldn't that just go on forever?
The only solutions I've been able to find are f(n) = c0 * c1^(2^n), but that has only 1 degree of freedom, so it doesn't help. A general solution must have 3 degrees of freedom.

What does that mean?

@Story: I don't even know what that problem is.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
@Mage The Zuko segments were just getting narmier and narmier.
I also didn't care for Toph's attitude in this ep either.
Sokka was awesome though (he always is)

It's a reccurence relation. Given the first three values of f, you have to find the rest.

Dang it, I don't remember math that I don't have practical applications for. Come to think of it, what would a practical application of such a relation be?
I have a feeling that Algebra 2 isn't going to help here.

@Mage Yeah, that was nice too.
Zuko angrily yelling at the sky to throw a lightning bolt at him made me collapse into fits of hysterical laughter XD

Was this the one with Foo Foo Cuddly Poops?
@crow Yup

Coming up with an efficient graph coloring algorithm?
