@edvedd I'm guessing it was the same way with people and Discord. A very good villain that came very close to succeeding with their plans and went about them in an innovative way.

In short, both having all the criteria to meet ginger's unreasonably high expectations XD

I like the idea that Shiny and Cadence were so exhausted after the invasion hijack of their wedding that they spent their first wedding asleep together.

That is so romantic.

And probably the first good night's sleep Cadence has had in ages. Or, possibly, the first time she's been able to sleep at all in days. Worrying about her fiance has had to have kept her awake in those caves.

My headcanon is that the alicorns aren't necessarily blood relatives, but they simply adopt each other as family because they're in it for the long haul together. The relationship between Celestia and Cadence is closest to that of Aunt and Niece, so that's what they think of each other as. For all we know Celestia and Luna might not even be sisters by blood, but the details are lost to history so there's no point in making the distinction.
