@Drenius. I agree that Nyx is a little overpowered in the story. But I personally loved the character developement going on. No it does NOT deserve the hate it gets.

Past Sins is good fic, much better that Dangerous Business. But they are nothing compared to Fallout Equestria.

That problem was fixed in the rewrite. She is given a good explanation. (Specifically Luna rips into her HARD)

I'm not sure I read it post rewrite. But if I remember the complaints correctly they added a whole scene where basically Celestia is given a What the Hell, Hero? moment and gives a pretty clear explanation for her actions.

From those fics I mentioned Past S Ins (version I read) handled Celestia in best way. Others make her train wreck of failure or ignored her existence in painfully headschraching manner,

I've avoided Past Sins mostly because I don't like what I've heard about how it treats Twilight and Celestia's relationship. I don't buy that Twi would keep Nyx a secret, or that Celestia wouldn't listen to her.

Hmmm, now would be the chance to shamelessly plug by own fic, but I can't really do that when I'm having such terrible writers block in continuing it past the second chapter. It's also not overly adventurous or shipping filled, so I don't know if anyone here would really be that interested in it anyway.

Ballad of Echo the Diamond Dog I think, haven't read it.

Though Pan yesyesyesyesyes Mines Of Dragon Mountain was AMAZING!!! (It's a Doctor Who crossover)

Slice of Life is fun.

Anthropolgy is really really addictive.

Through The Eyes Of Another Pony is AMAZING but just read the rewrite chapters as he puts them up, not the old ones or you'll get stuck on one EPIC cliffhanger.

Wild, Sweet, and Cool is a nice little freindshipping comedy about Raindbow Dash having Twilight ride her.

Dashes, Dots, and Pegasus Spots is another nice Freindshipping one

and of course you got THE Fanfic, Fallout Equestria

@Dymsta: From what I've heard, the evil part of Nightmare Moon that got purified by the elements of Harmony gets reincarnated as an alicorn named Nyx, who ends up getting raised by the mane cast in hopes of making her not turn out evil or something. Nothing like Cupcakes. It gets a lot of flak for having an alicorn OC.

@Ginger Like I said, it's not an adventure, so there's no prominent antagonist. It does have Scootaloo as the main character, though, which I know you like.
