@Cheerilee: Nice story :D Sure reminds me of some of the old storybooks I used to read.
hard to get a consensus when not everypony is on at the same time.
But Orion, we'd love you to watch too, as well as Miss Cherilee give us a "pony perspective" on it.
Anyway what I've seen is we watch two episodes a week, with the "watch by" date Wendsday and Saturday, then at a set time on that day (I'd say ~ 4PM EDT but that's just ccuase that's when I get ome Wends ) we start talking about, and just seeing what we all think after all the episodes etc...
Someone suggested we start with Mare-in-the-Moon on Wendsday, but given how hard it is to get stuff set up and passsed around, I countered with we wait till Saturday this week, and do both episodes as one, then do 2 a week after.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.

On the ultra-compression side of things, I've found that a tiny tiny 400x240 Xvid-compressed combo of s1e1 and s1e2 play back with fairly good quality on my tiny Creative X-Fi 2 itty-bitty player. Surprisingly fewer compression artifacts than I anticipated.
@Let's Watch: We should do 2 shifts, and hopefully one of the shifts comes up at a time I can watch. Otherwise I'll just watch it at around the same time on my tablet and comment afterwards :D
So baring having a full quorum to vote, we go with the assumption of talking about the two part pilot at a set time Saturday, just gotta come up with a time.
if anything changes we gotta let everyone know. So just make sure to tell everyone /pony you see one about it.
