I actually like how this is set up; Twilight's assumptions about Cadence actually has a decent basis, but the episode is still setting her up to just look jealous in the eyes of her friends.

Either this Cadence is an imposter, or she's really really really good at manipulating people. She has shown the magic for it, after all.
