Read the doc. I'm happy with all of that. It's got a good character building system, and it seems involved and yet simple to work with. I'm no expert on these types of games, but I'd be happy to use yours!

Now...to try and build my character...actually, what if I did The Luchador pony instead? I think we need a proper fighter right?

I like the D20 system, but feel that the D10 system is easier to model the show with.

Okay, well I finally got an avatar that'll do for now until I can get to a computer that DOESN'T block 80% of all pony or videogame-related images.

@Sereg: I'm interested in that D10 thingy. I don't think I've ever done anything closer to tabletop rping than just typing (although I can do that well), so that'll be fun. I'll read over the doc in a moment.

So Sereg, how many points do I get for the Virtues? And what about the skills?

I mean, here's a basic overview of the Luchador Pony:

65 points:

Strength: 16

Dexterity: 14

Intelligence: 8

Wisdom: 12

Charisma: 12

Presentation: 3

That's...not great but...can you help me out Sereg?

EDIT: He's as much of a showstallion as he is a fighter, and he's a powerful fighter!

@Applelight: Well, I haven't really decided yet how many character points you should start out with. Probably a lot as they're used for everything. Yes, everything. Assign them however you want. Let's go with 100 for now to see how things go. Also, don't comapare the numbers to D&D. In most D10 games, a 2 is roughly equivalent to a 10 in D&D.

EDIT: As such, those scores are actually enormous. I doubt that you can actually get them that high so easily. Remember, the higher the score is, the harder it is to make it even higher.

You want a powerful fighter and showstallion. I'd suggest concentrating on dexterity, strength, presentation, performance, combat and athletics. Then add some points to charisma and craft. What tribe is he?

Pegasi get bonuses to dexterity and have all the fanciness that flight provides. Earth ponies get bonuses to health and strength. Both will have magic very useful in combat. But it's better to go for what you want to play than what would be more powerful. Especially in this game. What's his special talent?

EDIT: If you're an earth pony fighter, you'll need that extra health, but for a pegasus, you may prefer ranged combat in which case buffing your poor energy may be preferable.

He fights to earn money for good deeds and to protect the weak and innocent. He's a friend to all children.

I don't know what his CM should be though.

Well, I have my pony halfway thought out. He's going to be a horny male (a male unicorn, what else were you thinking?), and his "special talent" has to do with electricity and zapping stuff in general. I can't think of a name just yet. He's going to focus on intelligence/wisdom, as well as lore, judge, and possibly bluff.

I'm not going to distribute character points just yet due to lack of time right now. I have about 3 minutes left before passing period. See you in about an hour, everypony.

@Applelight: Then you'll want him to have a high generosity. You might want a decent kindness as well, but that will throw off your aim when attacking. If so, you'll need an even better combat and dexterity than normal. Also, that style sounds very strength dependant and risky, so you'll need high strength and health.
