I don't want to feel sad, I don't seek it out, but ... its okay when it happens. I think its stupid to deny emotions to look tough or whatnot.

Basically, it works like this: You're feeling slightly down, so you expose yourself to something to make you cry. For a while you feel even worse, but soon afterwards, you feel better than when you started. I used to do this all the time. It's healthier than injuring yourself.
