@Syd Episode 1
@Sky You only left out like 3 episodes
@re:Bumi Yeah, I know, I was just reacting based off of my desperate desire for a competent antagonist (shrug)

Return of Harmony, Part 1
I started from the first episode, but Flutterguy was the first clip I saw. This was shortly after Cutie Mark Chronicles aired.
@Syd: I started visiting Ponyville when Princess Luna made her return (aka Return To Harmony).

Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
@ Fuji welcome to the Herd, we will add your uniqueness to our own and be greater as a whole, resistance is futile, you will be loved and tolerated.
And yeah it's a great show..and yes we do talk about ponies too, we just kinda...talk about everything else as well, it's less a pony chat thread and more a community of people that like ponies.
@ Syd the pilot, or if you want first first exposure, the
SF Debris review of the pilot.
Build a fool proof system, and the world will create a better fool.
First full episode was Stare Master. The episode after that was Cutie Mark Chronicles, so I thought the CMC were the main characters. Luckily, I decided to watch the series from the beginning after that.
VENGEANCE
Element of Indecision.
Flutterguy... I still don't get why that gag is so popular. Maybe it's just
Hype Backlash from having seen it so many times

Camras? What? If Featherweight has been following me around again I'm gonna buck him upside the head.
@ ginger......The Great Divide does not exist, just, it doesn't, go ahead and skip it, you miss NOTHING, it is so bland and unimportant the even give it a
Discontinuity Nod later on in the series.

@Seraph Why does everyone hate that ep so much? -_-

@Scoots: Not picture cameras. Video cameras.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.
Dog and Pony show was my first 'watching them as they come out' episode. I think I started out on Applebuck Season.
@Ginger: Well, I first saw Flutterguy by itself without all the fandom stuff that sprang from it, so there wasn't any hype backlash from me. And the best description for the Great Divide I've heard is that it feels like an episode from a run of the mill show that doesn't have any continuity.
@CHEERILEE: AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW... :(
DAMMIT, THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED TO BE TVTROPES-FAMOUS FOR.

Fringe Benefits
I've been on an Avatar archive binge and I can understand why the Great Divide isn't well liked. It adds nothing.

Becuase it is so
Anvilicious, it has NOTHING to do with anything else in the rest of the show, and is the only episode that just takes a common boring heard it a million times Aesop and just beats you over the head with it it the most boring, unoriginal and dull way possible.
It just feels like an episode off something from the deep end of the
Animation Age Ghetto. just so damn cliched.

I started with Applebuck Season
What would be the best episodes for bronifying my younger brother?

It’s highly probable that Satan has chosen [Lauren] Faust to be his modern-day emissary of evil. The signs are clear.
Really, cuz Warriors of Kyoshi felt kinda anviliscious too imo
