We're an interesting bunch. It's mostly something from the northwestern hemisphere, though, I'm not certain you'd see it in many other places.

Say, there's something to wonder: Orion, how exactly does pony culture vary across Equestria? And, are there other pony countries outside Equestria?

What, you don't study geography in school?

I mean, it's not likely I'll ever go anywhere outside of North America or Western Europe, but I've still studied and at least somewhat absorbed knowledge of other cultures.

I actually enjoyed geography. Except the bit where I had to learn all the -stans in Asia. That was a pain.

Flight school is a rather serious thing here in Cloudsdale. It's flight first, everything else second.

...Ok, so we do get a real education. We do learn geography, but more of an intimidate area rather than the whole world.

Well, it's just the way you said it sounded creepy that I wanted to meet the three, and seemed excited by it.

@Ginger: It is a requirement for every pegasus to learn basic flight. This training usually lasts two years. By then, a pegasus can perform basic maneuvers, take offs, landings, maintaining even momentum while carrying things (remember the chariot Twilight rode in when she arrived in Ponyville?) and cloud control.
