Wait, we're talking Star Trek? Never watched it. ST: TNG is pretty awesome though, watched a ton of that with the magic of Netflix and was thoroughly impressed. But that's not what we're here to discuss.

Yeah TNG is the best...as long as you avoid the first two seasons....except for Measure of a Man, that one you have to watch, the rest....they don't exist.

I'm currently going through Next Generation on Netflix, but I'm only on season one. It isn't great yet, but I'm holding out for the later seasons. I skipped the original completely.

@ Crow, AH there's you problem, TOS is very very VERY sixties, so it's hard to get over the camp if your not used to it, and Voyager....oh god was Voyager a train wreck.

Watch the latter (as in after season 2) seasons of TNG or any DS 9 those are the good ones.

@ other Crow, like I've said it gets good about season 3, then you get to Best of Both Worlds and..well there's a reason it is the single most loved episode of ANY Star Trek series. Once you get to that it gets amazing, some of the Season 7 stuff got a bit meh, but it just shows they ended it at the right time, just as it was starting to run out of gas but while it was still going strong.
