The reason the best music is Octavia themed is because the best music is orchestral stuff. And Octavia has a violin/viola/cello/fiddle/whatever.

Clarifying this before I leave for a while: Yes it was a Fairy Tale, and it was in Low German. You can probably understand it if you look at it carefully enough if you know German, or you can read the link I posted earlier which now reminds me of phoenixes.

I'm kinda the same way as Ginger on the issue with the music. I really prefer orchestral stuff. Electronic and similar music... not as much, although classic/bluesy rock is also pretty good.

I think that it'll still be a long time before bronies ever come near the Touhou fandom in terms of fan music, imo.

I like epic orchestral swells and ominous latin chanting... but mainly I like stuff which has a powerful riff

because with the MLP fandom, the majority of us actually WATCH the show, and the official product actually gives us a lot to work with in terms of fanwork

Most members of the Touhou fandom haven't even played the games (at least that's the impression I got) and in general it just feels like the official works are completely ignored
