Really, comapred to just about every other fandom or hell any group of people, Bronies have been by far the calmest and most rational. Sure some get PO'ed about stuff, but on the whole it's been handled very calmly and coolly, hell even curing the few really bad incednets, I saw more people upset at people for being pissed then people actaully pissed.

That wasn't entirely true tho. There's some posts about that on EQ Daily, someone was trollin' hard.
Best evidence is that about 2 weeks ago a screen writer (forget her name but she is an actual established TV script writer) Tweeted that she had recently been hired to write for MLP, well after all 13 episodes would have been written if that was all they were making.

Pony toy sales have improved quite significantly, with every sign the new G4.5 toyline will be devoured by bronies when it hits the States. I myself will try to camp for a number of the new ponies :D
Well, Netflix has to pay in order to show their episodes, and it's extremely popular there. So there's that angle.
and the fact that the Box set they are releasing in Austrailia is already one of the topped best selling DVD lists there within a week.
not mention they HAVE to see how much people are willing to pay for the plushies and other E-Bay stuff and know they can come up with a way to get some of that.

The only thing that would be holding back Hasbro from making MASSIVE cash off this is the limited amount of merchandise they are putting out. Lets see how fast the new Toy R Us exclusives sell out. Know I'll be grabbing them soon as I can..as long as I can buy them online at least.
