Actually, previous MLP incarnations did air on two Canadian station, called Teletoon and YTV. Teletoon is the Canadian equivalent to Cartoon Network, complete with Boomerang equivalent, Teletoon Retro. YTV is basically a Canadian equivalent to Nickelodeon, which serves almost no purpose now considering how Discovery Kids Canada got replaced with a Nickelodeon Canada. YTV to me seems like a better choice since they also aired previous MLP incarnations. Not to mention that as of right now, YTV has a block on their channel, called YTV Playtime, which has shows taken from Treehouse TV as well as other stuff like Pound Puppies.

This isn't the first time Treehouse has aired something out of line with their preschooler demographic. Heck, I remember when the aired Rugrats holiday specials on that channel. Fortunately, they saved us the sanity by airing only the holiday specials and not the entire series.

Wait, you mean YTV still shows cartoons? i thought all the showed were those crummy teen sit-coms now. Huh. I dunno, I do remember Teletoon playing some stuff aimed at younger kids, but it's been a loooong time since I've had a chance to watch it, so I don't know.

Also, has anyone seen this yet? I thought it was pretty neat.

But Gilda and Trixie were antagonists! I would expect they appreciate the value of story as much as political correctness! Those episodes were aired untouched in the States! What's the logic behind this?!
