Ah, you guys are going to sleep? What about the night sky? It's such a clear sky tonight. You can't waist this good of an opportunity to see the stars.
Yeah, Andromeda is heading for you. You got over 9000 years until it collides.

There was a book I read a long time ago that dealt with creating mini wormholes that you could somehow put a camera through and see to any time or place. It changed the world in both good and bad ways.
Was it "The Light of Other Days"?

@Orion I stuck my head outside, and it is beautiful out there. Nice moon.

Anyway, just dropping in really quick. Tomorrow's my last day of driver's ed, so I'm glad for that to be over with. Unfortunately, it starts at 8, and I have to wake up at 6:30. So good night everyone.

I've no intention of leaving for at least another hour.

The moon is brilliant here too. Unfortunately, there's too much light pollution to properly view the stars.

'night Sky.

@Sky: That's great. You should check for planets. If I'm right, you should be able to see Venus and Jupiter.

What an excellent view of the light pollution!

Yes, I believe that was the book, by Arthur C. Clarke and some other guy. I read it Freshman year of college so.. about 10 years ago give or take.

Even though I live in the 'burbs and pretty close to a city, I can usually see quite a few stars.

You can see those two planets that are really bright right now, I guess its Venus and Jupiter as mentioned above even with all of the light pollution. Was outside Grilling a week or two ago and they were aligned with each other so they were hard to miss.

@crowfall: Not to be an ass, but you can see "the stars." You have one lighting your planet right now. :P

@Mousa: You said goodnight to me?

@Storyyeller - its a bit long and more than slightly anvilicious with some of its messages. Plus the ending was kinda... meh. You probably shouldnt bother.

I just read it because there was nothing else to read at the time.
