I'd think so. Just try to either convince the party to go with it or don't be near them when you do it.

Looking in my D&D Handbook. Intelligence helps wizard powers, reflex, light armour and is a key ability for Arcana, History and Religion. Wisdom helps Cleric powers, will defence and is the key ability for Dungeoneering, Heal, Insight, Nature and Perception.

@ Ginger: Constitution is added to your HP, increases Healing Surges, helps Warlock Powers, Fortitude Defence and the key ability for Endurance. Bare in mind this is just D&D, not sure about the system we're using.

@ Apple: Yes, especially when considering the flavour text they give you.

Healing surges? Are you looking at 4th ed? Me, I'm more of a 3.5 guy, but mostly because that's the edition I "grew up" with. (And naturally, it's what first comes to mind for me when someone says D&D.)

Incidentally, "Buck Lightning" sounds like a good name for a pegasus. That, or a 90's action hero.

I would be curious to try this RPG thing, although the type of RPG I'm used to is the kind where it's like writing a fanfic only you just write your own character(s) parts, like the type done on this forum in the RPG section. I know a little bit about the other kind talked about here, and I do have a 20-sided die somewhere, or at least I'm pretty sure I do.
