@yeller: they must train a lot with oekaki tools or cheatyface and use a drawing tablet.

So, I was really bored and was looking at art. I thought to myself "I wish I could draw stuff, all I can do is draw lines." That gave me a weird idea, and ten minutes later I drew this◊.

Basically, it turns out that you can make something not quite awful looking by grouping together a whole bunch of parallel lines. I can't do anything remotely detailed with it (yet), but I think I got the basic shapes down. I'm just surprised I was able to draw anything at all, since I haven't picked up a pencil with artistic intent since high school art class years ago.

The picture quality is really bad (I took it with my phone camera), but you're not missing much thanks to the low detail. If I ever do more, I'll try and scan them instead.

@Luker That's almost like how I draw except I use a series of curved lines until they make a shape. Keep at it and you'll get even better.

@Lurker I recomend you the book "draing from the rfight side fo the brain" it helps a lot
