Pixie Sticks (those tubes of pure sugar) for Pinkie Pie. High quality Belgium chocolates for Rarity. Applejack would be something simple, but loved by all... hmmm, coming up blank on her, though. Nerds for Twi. Not entirely sure for Fluttershy. Maybe something like those suckers with gum in the middle, but with something other than gum.

You know, I have to wonder about the history of Shining Armour's relationship with Cadence as well as why we've never seen him with Twilight before.

Was he in Guard School for Twilight's test?

Was he working for Twilight's birthday? (Come to think of it, that question applies to Twilight's parents as well.)

Was he already dating Cadence before Twilight's exam? Or did he start while Twilight was being taught by Celestia, or even after she moved to Ponyville?

Did Twilight introduce them?

Did he used to be Cadence's personal guard?

Did he ask Princess Celestia permission to court and/or marry Cadence? If so, how awkward must that have been?

The only thing I'm fascinated by is their terrible fashion sense. The orange-y flower one is the only one that looks reasonable.
