I'm also guessing that Ponyville has more of an East Coast weather as well where the summers are pretty cool at like 70 degrees and you can wear sweaters in summer.

I'm used to Texas weather, where 80 degrees F is chilly for summer. Which is why I always make fun of shows that have a plot with heat waves: "Temperatures are predicted to rise to 105 degrees by the end of the day". Ha! Wusses.

Mousa: I guess that's true. He kind of does seem to be cashing in on a crazy. But he has a wide range of talent that has stuff on how to do anatomy and also western animation. So I think he draws well.

How's the humidity, though? This summer we had a ~103 heat wave that was torturous because of the humidity.

You want to talk wusses? How about those Texans who gripe about 50 degrees? XD We get worse than that in the springtime.

I'm unimpressed with countries that don't regularly have hot days where it's like Utsuho is frying us all like eggs in a pan. Behold, the sweltering heat of the equatorial tropics, which gangs up with sea-breeze humidity to make the heat even more oppressive. Be glad you at least have drier air to get rid of perspiration, Ilse [lol]

@Red: When I was in college there were a couple of guys in the dorm who were from the Bahamas. They were wearing like parkas and stuff when it was 60 degrees. That's practically t-shirt weather.

The humidity depends on the area. My parents (aka: my permanent residence) is in Houston, which is relatively close to the coast, so it can be kind of humid at times, particularly during hurricane season when it tends to rain a lot more than usual.

But unfortunately, right now we have very strong drought that's bad for pretty much everyone. The only good thing about it is that there's very little humidity as of right now. But I remember when Hurricane Ike hit our area. It was very hot (at least 95 degrees or so, we didn't have air conditioning (everyone in Texas has air conditioning), and it was ultra humid because of the hurricane).

Is this Fahrenheit or Celsius?

Here in Ireland, 20-25 degrees Celsius is considered a scorcher.

Also here in Ireland, sweaters, rubber boots and sleeveless jackets are all associated with farming and country types. So I can always picture Flutters and AJ wearing that kind of stuff in colder weather.

EDIT: However, while I might not be able to take the heat, I can take the cold.

Doing car repair in a t-shirt at 2 degrees Celesus!

Fahrenheit. It gets hot but not THAT hot XD

And yeah, we're wusses when it's cold. 70 degrees is chilly weather here XD. Except everyone turns into a child on the rare times that it snows. Schools are cancelled, a lot of workplaces are closed (Because "it's dangerous to travel on icy roads"), and everyone goes outside to build snowmen (if we get the 2 inches necessary to make a small and muddy one), or just walk around outside (if nothing settles)

[up][up]Pft. Where I'm from that would be considered a nice cool day. The usual highs around here are easily 30+ C even during some of the cooler months.

[up]We get no snow around here. Schools only close for Hurricanes and Tropical Storms.

Yeah, the last time it snowed was last year. It made me sad that it doesn't snow here more often :(

Singapore day temperatures average in the 28-36 degrees Celcius range, with exceptionally cloudless skies bringing superheated temperatures as high as the 35-40 degree range, desert heat in a humid land. Worse, there aren't as many air conditioners in Singapore as we would like, so enjoy being boiled and then pickled. Typically most people dress light, t-shirts and tank-tops and singlets for all, and most wear shorts because they're comfier in the heat.

'Tis a shame that possibly only Zecora and Daring Do are familiar with the kind of heat we get here.

OK... The fandom seems to be calling the Illness(Feather flu, was it?) that made the 6 pegasi unable to work a STD. The only male in the 6 was Thunderlane... between this and the shipping of him and Flutter plus Cloudchaser we may have a new memetic sex god...

[up][up][up]Wait, why would they assume that? It's a flu. Doesn't that imply that it's an airborne virus?

I think everyone is just used to different weathers. But Texas can actually be very varied in weather. The record low for Houston is, I think, 23 F, which would be -5 C. So... yeah... not too cold but we can stand it. And 60 degrees is pretty chilly for most of us too. I think the most I would wear on a day like that is jeans and a small cardigan.
