He hates everything (well except Portal), but there aer some things he hates more than others. If a game is truly bad like Mindjack, he'll make that clear. for good games, he usually just nitpicks and then recommends it anyway.

He actually tends to like and hate in fairly equal measure, you just have to listen really carefully to pick out when he likes something. Even the things he doesn't like he tends to try and at least find some redeeming feature in... though it doesn't always work.
